“We are better together.” TEBI and our collaborative partner, The South Central Alabama Broadband Cooperative District ‘s GetWiredAlabama, a 17 Black Belt county broadband initiative, invite you to become a community champion/advocate. 

 The Get Wired Alabama Initiative Community of Champions program, “A Grassroots Movement,” made up of local community minded residents, that uses a dynamic community engagement process to bring people together to build strong community support and advocacy for local community broadband services.

 Community of Champions offer effective solutions for local areas, by giving residents and communities the tools and resources to identify local issues and problems that can be best addressed through technology while driving local adoption by encouraging people to become a user of broadband technology.

The aim is, to build the capacity of local estates, neighborhoods, and individuals to work together with local providers and commissioners so that services are better designed to meet the community’s need.
